Zero-defect quality: Best Quality Performance Award from Whirlpool

TDK Corporation announces that Whirlpool Latin America has honored EPCOS do Brasil, a subsidiary of TDK Corporation, for the second consecutive year with the Best Quality Performance Award 2013. The prize recognizes the supply of EPCOS AC film capacitors with zero defects for a period of one year. These components serve as motor-run capacitors in washers, refrigerators and air-conditioners, which are manufactured in Brazil by Whirlpool.

Whirlpool is the world’s leading home appliance manufacturer and some of the world’s most recognized appliance brands, including Whirlpool, Maytag, and Brastemp.
